Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SwiftHog ("we", "our", "us") handles information in connection with the Shumway SEO Toolkit Chrome extension ("the extension").
1) Data collection
The extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information or page data remotely. All page data is read locally from the active browser tab, only when you choose to open or interact with the extension.
2) How data is used
Page content (HTML, metadata, links, images, structured data, performance signals, and style data) is read locally to populate the extension's panels. This data is used only within your browser session and is not sent to any server.
3) Data sharing
We do not sell, share, or transmit any data gathered by the extension to third parties. External lookup buttons (Ahrefs, Semrush, Archive.org, etc.) open third-party sites in your browser only when you explicitly click them. We have no control over those sites' privacy practices.
4) Analytics and tracking
The extension contains no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting that sends data to external servers.
5) Exports
Exports (CSV, TSV, JSON, Markdown) are generated entirely in your browser and downloaded locally. We do not receive copies of exported data.
6) Permissions
The extension requests permissions necessary to read page content in the active tab. These permissions are used solely to surface on-page SEO data within the extension interface.
7) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a revised effective date.
8) Contact
For privacy questions, contact support@swifthog.com.
