Get started, understand each section, and get the most out of Shumway SEO Toolkit.

How to use it

  1. Open any page you want to inspect.
  2. Click the Shumway SEO Toolkit icon in your Chrome toolbar.
  3. Use the left-side sections to review Overview, Headings, Links, Images, Schema, Performance, Social, Style, SERP, Webmaster Tools, and Exports.
  4. Copy individual fields or download the data in the format you need.

Sections overview

Overview

URL, canonical, robots meta, X-Robots-Tag, robots.txt match, title, description, H1, language, and indexability signals.

Headings

Full rendered heading outline. Identify H1 count issues. Copy individual headings or the full outline. Export as CSV, TSV, JSON, or Markdown.

Links

Internal, external, follow, nofollow, sponsored, UGC, empty-anchor, duplicate-anchor, and unsafe blank-target links. Sort, copy, and export.

Images

Alt text coverage, lazy loading status, missing dimensions, duplicate sources. Preview images, copy URLs, export data, download as ZIP.

Schema

Detect JSON-LD, Microdata, and RDFa. Review and export schema blocks. Open in Schema Validator or Google Rich Results Test.

Social

Open Graph and X/Twitter metadata. Preview social cards. Copy individual fields or export all social metadata.

SERP Preview

Editable Google-style snippet preview with character and pixel-width counts for title, URL, and description.

Performance

Lightweight local Web Vitals signals: LCP candidates, layout shift sources, and interaction candidates.

Style

Extract fonts, CSS variables, stylesheets, and page colors. Color picker outputs HEX, RGB, and HSL.

Webmaster Tools

Shortcuts to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools for the current site, including performance compare helpers.

External Lookups

Open the current page or domain in Ahrefs, Archive.org, Moz, Semrush, Similarweb, Google Image Search, Schema Validator, and Rich Results Test.

Exports

Download overview, headings, links, images, schema, social, and full page data as CSV, TSV, JSON, or Markdown.

Right-click on any page to access common workflows without opening the full extension panel:

Privacy

All data is read locally from the active tab. The extension does not collect, send, or store any page data remotely. External lookup buttons open third-party sites only when you explicitly click them.
